Dr. Gary Ulaner joined NHRA in 2020. He also serves as the Director of Molecular Imaging and Therapy for the Hoag Cancer Center. Gary is the principle investigator of multiple projects bringing state-of-the-art molecular imaging to patients with breast cancer, prostate cancer, and myeloma, including clinical trials funded by the National Institutes of Health.
Gary has authored over 100 research manuscripts, serves on the editorial board of 4 leading radiology and nuclear medicine journals, and is the author of the textbook “Fundamentals on Oncologic PET/CT”.
Gary currently lives in Irvine, California with his wife, Alena, son, Ilya, and daughter, Anabel. He met his wife swing dancing, and they are still dancing today, albeit with a little less frequency.
